Conor McGregor has been given the go-ahead to try and become the first UFC fighter to hold two titles at the same time.
UFC president Dana White has confirmed that McGregor will return to the octogon on March 5th in Las Vegas.
After beating Jose Aldo to claim the featherweight belt, McGregor will now make the step up in weight to challenge Rafael dos Anjos for his lightweight title at UFC 197.

The fight will share top-billing with another title fight between bantamweight champion Holly Holm and challenger Miesha Tate, with tickets going on sale on January 22nd.
