It is a rivalry that has been simmering since last October, and it finally came to a head on Sunday evening as Texas Rangers' Rougned Odor punched the Toronto Blue Jays star Jose Bautista in the face.
In a play-off game last year, Bautista threw his bat in the year after scoring a home-run against the Rangers. A "bat-flip" is seen as one of the most disrespectful things that could be done in baseball.
On Sunday evening, tensions finally reached boiling point between the two teams a Odor and Bautista clashed, with the Rangers star punching Bautista in the face during the game after an altercation.
The incident caused both teams to converge on the pitch to try and calm the situation between the players. Both players were ejected from the game, along with more players from each team as a result of the incident.
