Conor McGregor's incredible victory over Jose Aldo left the entire division stunned, as the Irishman claimed the belt in just 13 seconds.
Clearly not that accustomed to tasting defeat, having gone undefeated for a decade, Aldo was tough to console after the fight but there was a great show of respect between him and Chad Mendes afterwards, as the two former rivals came face to face.
The moment was captured by referee Marc Goddard as the two men embraced in the wake of Aldo's loss.
Everything that quells the heartache of this sport. Tearful. Mendes embraces Aldo after last nights fight. #know pic.twitter.com/58IBrynlPV

It was a great moment that shows just how much respect there is between all opponents who step into the ring together, no matter how much trash talking goes on before the fight.
