Brooks Koepka has withdrawn from this week's Travelers Championship after his caddie Ricky Elliott tested positive for COVID-19.
Elliott becomes the latest person on the PGA Tour to test positive for the virus.
Nick Watney withdrew from last week's RBC Heritage as he headed for the first tee on the Friday.
While on Tuesday night, Cameron Champ became the first person to test positive from the Travelers' pre-tournament screening.
Graeme McDowell will also be skipping this week's festivities in Cromwell after his caddie Ken Comboy tested positive.
Elliott's positive test came on Wednesday morning, 48 hours after originally testing negative.
"I’m going to pull out to protect everybody else. I think it’s the right thing to do," world number 4 Koepka told Golf Week.
"I don’t want to risk anyone’s life if they have respiratory issues or underlying conditions.
"The only way this Tour can continue is if guys to do this sort of thing and be proactive about it."
Elliott, Koepka and Koepka's coach Claude Harmon III decided on additional testing having played a practice round with McDowell on Tuesday.
"We all got tested Monday—myself, Claude and Ricky. We all came back negative,” Koepka said. "
"We had no symptoms. Nothing."
It's believed McDowell's caddie Comboy contracted the virus on a commercial flight from Dallas after the Charles Schwab Challenge.
"Ricky has my full support in this. I feel bad for him,” Koepka added.
"We have got to do everything we can to not spread it. We have to protect the field. That’s the reason we have these rules."
