Bradley Wiggins: It's "horrible" to deal with accusations of wrongdoing

Bradley Wiggins says it's been "horrible" having to deal with allegations of wrongdoing.

UK Anti-Doping is investigating what was in a medical package delivered to the five-time Olympic champion before the 2011 Criterium du Dauphine - a Tour de France warm-up race won by Bradley Wiggins - while he was with Team Sky.

The investigation has seen members of his team come under fire, including general manager, Dave Brailsford.

Brailsford has since acknowledged mistakes in the handling of Team Sky's anti-doping and medical practices, but pointed out that there was a "fundamental difference between process failures and wrongdoing".

The chief executive of UK Anti-Doping, Nicole Sapstead, has previously said that there is "no record at all" that a package delivered to Wiggins at the race in 2011 contained legal decongestant fluimucil.

"It's the worst thing to be accused of if you're a man of my integrity," he told Sky's Soccer AM on Saturday morning.

"It is when it's what I believe and what I've done to get to where I am today. But fortunately there's an investigation - and I obviously can't say too much - but that will run its course.

"Then I'll have my say. There’s a lot to say and it’s going to shock a few people."
