Reports claim that Conor McGregor is to fight Floyd Mayweather in a super-fight later this year in Las Vegas.
According to The Sun, Mayweather plans to come out of retirement for the second time as he looks to improve his professional record to 50-0. Earlier this week, ESPN revealed that the American fighter was preparing to make a comeback by trademarking "TMT 50" and "TBE 50".
In recent years, Mayweather has called himself "The Best Ever". He calls his ever-increasing entourage "The Money Team", and has sold merchandise using both phrases.

McGregor's next date in the octagon is still unknown. The Dubliner was due to fight Nate Diaz at UFC 200 in July, but was pulled from the card for not fulfilling promotional duties.
The 27-year-old remains the UFC's Featherweight Champion and is expected to defend his title against either Jose Aldo or Frankie Edgar when he returns to the ring. Although McGregor has not fought since March, the Dubliner is still hoping to fight in the coming months.
The Sun claim that the deal for McGregor and Mayweather to fight is done, with contracts having been signed last Monday. Compared to the American's fight with Manny Pacquiao last summer, he will receive the vast majority of the fight purse, with the newspaper claiming McGregor will only pocket around €9million for what will be solely a boxing fight.

The two men exchanged verbals in January, when Mayweather claimed McGregor's trash-talking was not being criticised because of the colour of his skin.
The Notorious responded by saying; "Floyd Mayweather, don't ever bring race into my success again. I am an Irishman. My people have been oppressed our entire existence. And still very much are."
Although Mayweather has more knockouts to his name, it is McGregor who holds the quicker stoppage. Last December, he knocked out Jose Aldo in 13 seconds.
