Anthony Joshua will face the undefeated Dominic Breazeale in the first title defence of his career on 25 June.
The Olympic super heavyweight gold medallist took just two rounds to stop American Charles Martin earlier this month to capture the IBF heavyweight title.
"I’ve been speaking with my coach and I want the closest fight date possible because I’m feeling good,” Joshua said in a video posted on his official Twitter account earlier this week.
Breazeale carries a professional record of 17-0 into the fight, his latest victory came against Amir Mansour.
Joshua has a similar record, 16-0 all of which culminating in knockout.
"I can't tell you how excited I am to fight again, especially at The O2 which I have made my fortress," Joshua told Sky Sports.
"My coaches have watched Breazeale for a long time and they knew he was going to be a player in the division and now we get the chance to go war on June 25.
"I am looking to get passed Breazeale in style and continue moving towards the unification fight everybody is waiting for."
