It's the fairytale finish the rarely happens, but last night it did.
The Green Bay Packers defeated the Detroit Lions last night in Michigan courtesy of a 61-yard "Hail Mary" touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers that was caught by namesake Richard Rodgers in the endzone.
At one point Green Bay were losing 20-0 midway through the Third Quarter before three touchdowns, including one from quarterback Aaron, reduced the score to 23-21.
With the last play of the game, Green Bay were preparing to throw the ball down field, before Detroit's Devin Taylor was penalised for grabbing Aaron Rodger's facemask. The Packers were allowed re take the snap and scored with the final play of the game.
They now lie 8-4, one game behind the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North standings. Detroit's loss moves them to 4-8.
Another angle that was broadcast after the game show the amazing trajectory of the pass from Aaron Rodgers. It also shows how calm the quarterback had to be to wait for his players to get into to position down the field and also to evade the Detroit defenders.
