Former world number one Tiger Woods returns to the course he debuted on 25 years ago at the Riviera Club in California.
The first time the world glimpsed Woods on Tour was at the 1992 Nissan Open and although the 16 year old missed the cut after posting rounds of 72 and 75, it was a valuable learning experience according to the man himself.
Speaking to pgatour.com he said: "It was a life-changing moment for me. It was a learning experience. I learned I wasn't that good.
"I learned I have a long way to go. I'm not competitive at this level. I am at the junior level, but not at the pro level. These guys are so much better.
"It was a lot of fun."

"I didn't think I was ready for it, and it showed me that I'm not. I just have to grow up, that's all," he added.
Woods went on to win 79 times on the PGA Tour including 14 major championships. He is currently trying to regain that form although he has struggled with a back injury over the last 18 months.
Although he won't be playing this week as he takes further time off to recover from back spasms, he will be present at the course to promote his charity which is running the Genesis Open.
Speaking after his round 25 years ago he said: “These were the best two days of my life. I’ve never had this much support before. After every shot, the people clapped. When I hit a bad shot, they still clapped. If I two-putted, they still clapped.”

The American's last win on Tour came at the Bridgestone Invitational in August 2013 and his last major win was the 2008 US Open.
