Cavan scored a dramatic late goal to force a replay against Tyrone in the Ulster SFC semi-final in Clones this afternoon.
David Givney was the hero for Terry Hyland's men and speaking to Off The Ball's Dave McIntyre after the game, he insisted Cavan had "more in the tank" and would produce a much-improved performance.
"It was a crazy game, the conditions were tough and that lent itself to [the game] being a bit crazy at times. Tyrone hand't given away a goal in the last seven championship matches so it was great to get three today" he said.
"Some of the high ball that went in wasn't up to the standard that we expect of ourselves. If we can get good quality ball in, we'll need to get guys up there and we have two weeks now to work on that.
"We don't think we played anywhere near what we can. As we said in the huddle, we played about 60 per cent of what we can do. Look'it, we've a lot more in the tank and we've better performances in us.
"We'll go back to the drawing board and put right what we did wrong and come out fighting."
He also acknowledged the importance of their experienced forward line in Seanie Johnston, Eugene Keating and Givney himself after returning from a year off.
"Getting the three of us back was probably a boost because Cavan aren't blessed with a massive population so having everyone to put their shoulder to the wheel is very important for the team."
