With the inter-county season done and dusted, we are in the midst of the finales of the club championships around the country.
However, few county finals will be able to match the drama of the Laois football one.
On Sunday, Portlaoise were up against Stradbally with the county title on the line.
Portlaoise have been the dominant force in recent years, winning every Laois football final dating back to 2007 and were on for a 10 in a row.
The record Laois champions have won 32 county titles and Stradbally come in second in that regard with 16.
The 16th came on Sunday as they won their first Laois county championship since 2005.

And it was as dramatic as they come.
Trailing Portlaoise by two points with 30 seconds to go, Stradbally strode up the field with a goal on their minds.
And it was a goal they got.
Jody Dillon was the provider with an excellent finish after a swift attack up the field.
The final score was 2-10 to 1-12.
What a way to win a @CLGLaois county final!! Congrats @Stradbally_GAA. #TheToughest pic.twitter.com/Rp84hVn9FX
