Tipperary midfielder George Hannigan is relishing the fact that the county are still alive and kicking so deep into the summer.
He was part of a Tipp side that saw off Galway today to advance to an unprecedented All-Ireland football semi-final place, where they will meet either Mayo or Tyrone on August 21st.
"It's just unbelievable to see Tipperary football team receive a reception like that in Croke Park and long may it continue," Hannigan told Newstalk's Dave McIntyre after the final whistle at GAA HQ.
"It's quite astonishing really. I'm usually with my feet up watching games watching television at this time of year having been knocked out of the championship and it's great to be focusing on opponents while watching television. It's been a great summer so far. We can't wait for the next day."
