The Munster Football Championship saw its first one sided game of the Summer yesterday afternoon as Tipperary defeated Waterford by 1-24 to 0-05 in their provincial quarter final.
Waterford are still looking for their first win in the Munster Championship since 2010 when they defeated Clare. Their last win in the qualifiers came a year later when they defeated London in Ruislip.
Their manager Tom McGlinchey spoke to members of the press, including Newstalk Sport's Oisin Langan after the game about the sides performance and whats next for the Waterford football team.
McGlinchey hopes to see no players leave the panel after the loss stating: "I'd very very disappointed it anybody walked anyway from it now. To walk away is to throw in the towel, and I dont think any man worth his salt would do that".
"They dont want to be the laughing stock of the country" according to McGlinchey and he added the county board are fully behind the side despite the side having many detractors in county Waterford.
He also added that he expects his opponents to go far in the Championship, maybe even reaching the quarter finals, despite the fact the Kerry is next up for Tipperary in the Munster semi finals.
