The life of Jim McGuinness and Donegal's All-Ireland journey to be made into a movie

It's being reported today that the life of Jim McGuinness and Donegal's amazing journey to All-Ireland triumph in 2012, is to be made into a movie.

In the first GAA film of its kind, this production will be framed around the award-winning book Until Victory Always, in which McGuinness presents an insight into his experience as the Donegal manager, his transition in Celtic FC and the personal trauma that came with the death of his two brothers.

Donegal's All-Ireland success in 2012 was their first in 20 years after Brian McEniff led the team to their first win in 1992.

The oscar-nominated Kirsten Sheridan, who co-wrote the script for the film In America, is understood to be writing the screenplay for this film which will be produced by Irish production company Fastnet Films.

A director and cast is still yet to finalised.
