Stephen Rochford: Mayo's level of execution against Tipperary "wouldn't be good enough" in All-Ireland final

Mayo manager Stepen Rochford admits some of the team's errors in their All-Ireland football semi-final victory over Tipperary will come back to bite them if repeated in the final.

Mayo have set themselves up for a Croke Park decider between the winner of the other semi between Kerry and reigning champions Dublin.

Speaking to Newstalk's Oisin Langan, Rochford acknowledged the tough challenge Tipp posed his side but was also disappointed with aspects of Mayo's play.

"That third quarter would be quite disappointing in the manner in which we should really have kicked on, kicking the ball into the goalies hands twice, missed a really easy chance there with Jason missing the free. And looking to maybe what will be in front of us in four weeks' time, that sort of level of execution just wouldn't be good enough," he said.

"We're the only team that can address [the mistakes] and we're the only team in the All-Ireland final so it's not particularly worrying. It would be a bigger worry if I'm talking about this after the All-Ireland final."
