Sean Cavanagh urges against complacency after Tyrone crush Cavan

Sean Cavanagh says Tyrone are in a "happier place" after their victory over Cavan in the All-Ireland football Championship qualifiers this afternoon.

Mickey Harte's side were 10 point winners in Clones and Cavanagh warned that his side shouldn't become complacent after the victory.

"It's not often you get those open spaces on a Championship day," he told Off The Ball's Dave McIntyre, "We knew the last day out that we had a flatness in our game. We conceded a couple of sloppy goals and knew we had a lot of improving to do as we walked off the pitch two weeks ago.

"The goals at the right times today for us opened the game up and Cavan had to go man-to-man. The gaps started to appear and luckily we've got some phenomenal runners in the squad.

"The chances kept coming and coming, obviously we're very happy with the scores we threw up but we were sloppy at the back at times in the second half there. No matter how much you try and not be complacent, we probably took our eye off the ball to a certain extent.

"There's still work to be done from that respect, but I think we're in a happier position than we were two weeks ago."
