Roscommon have confirmed that Kevin McStay will be senior football manager for the county ahead of the 2017 season.
McStay was joint-manager in 2016 along with Fergal O'Donnell.
O'Donnell had resigned from that joint role in September, stating that "concerted effort has been made (outside of management and players) to undermine and disparage us."
Fellow Mayo man Liam McHale will form part of his backroom team, with others to be confirmed.
Nigel Dineen had pulled out of the running for the manager's role last Thursday after citing "strong reservations about the integrity of the selection and recruitment process".
