Richie Hogan is set to miss Kilkenny's Championship opener against Dublin after suffering a broken hand.
Hogan sustained the injury during a match in for his club Danesfort against Ballyhale Shamrocks, according to the Irish Daily Mail.
The 2014 Player of the Year will play no part in Kilkenny's Leinster hurling championship quarter-final against Dublin in two weeks time.
According to RTE, Hogan is set to have a consultation in Dublin tomorrow.
