One point was the difference in the end, as Division 1B leaders Waterford shocked Tipperary in the Allianz League semi final yesterday afternoon in Nowlan Park.
Waterford will play Cork in the final, after Jimmy Barry-Murphy's side came from 12 points behind to beat Dublin in the first semi final.
The final which will be played on May 3rd, will act as a dress rehearsal for the Munster Championship semi final that will take place on June 7th.
Noel Connors starred in yesterday's win from the corner back position.
