This Saturday on Off The Ball, we bring you live coverage of Cork's 4A qualifier against Sligo, where a placed in the All Ireland Football quarter-finals are up for grabs.
Ahead of that game manager Brian Cuthbert has made six changes to his team and tonight The Sunday Times' Michael Foley cast an eye over the squad and where the Rebels are at after a disappointing performance against Tipperary and a chastening defeat to Kerry in the Munster final.
"When you look at the team [Cuthbert's] picked, I don't think they have gone away from the core principals of what they want to do. But they've changed a lot of personnel. To me, they seem to have gone for youth, energy and pace. They've dispensed with this notion that we're looking for leaders and experienced guys to step forward. I think that's just been ditched and they're looking for a reaction," said Foley, who adds that the Rebels will need to act their act together should they beat Sligo as Mayo awaits in the quarter-finals.
He also feels that options off the bench are limited for Cork but expects them to move the ball quicker from back to front, with the lack of cover at centre-back.
