Andy McEntee has been named as the new manager of the Meath footballers.
The Dunboyne native has been appointed as successor to Mick O'Dowd, who stepped down in the wake of loss to Derry in the All-Ireland qualifiers.

McEntee has been touted as future Meath manager since helping Ballyboden St Enda's to the All-Ireland club title earlier this year and he will be joined on his back-room staff by elder brother, Gerry along with Donal Curtis and Finian Murtagh.
