Mayo make four changes for National Football League clash with Meath

Mayo manager James Horan has made four changes to his team ahead of Sunday's Allianz National Football League trip to Meath.

James McCormack has been picked at full-back, Eoin O'Donoghue comes in at full-back while Kevin McLoughlin and Tommy Conroy have been handed starts in the corner-forward positions.

Oisin Mullin, Colm Boyle, Aidan O'Shea, and Jordan Flynn make way from the side which lost to Dublin last weekend.

Mayo's wait for a win over the Dubs now stretches to eight years but Horan says that record will have little relevance when they next meet:

“We might get another chance at Dublin soon, you never know. We’ll try to look forward to that if it comes. You’d know about these records because they’d be in the media but you take every game at face value so you’re always going to try and win your home games.

“With the All-Ireland champions in your house, you’re definitely going to try and win that and then with these sort of records involved, it’s an added incentive but it’s not your primary focus.”

Mayo team to face Meath: Rob Hennelly; Padraig O’Hora, James McCormack, Brendan Harrison; Eoin O’Donoghue, Michael Plunkett, Patrick Durcan; Stephen Coen, Diarmuid O’Connor; Fergal Boland; Ryan O’Donoghue, James Durcan; Tommy Conroy, James Carr, Kevin McLoughlin.
