Mayo manager James Horan has defended his training techniques and challenged those who comment on them to 'get some evidence' before giving their opinions.
He was speaking in the aftermath of Mayo's 2-13 to 1-15 win over Armagh in their Round 3 Qualifier in Castlebar on Saturday.
Diarmuid O'Connor and Matthew Ruane suffered injuries in the lead up to the game while Horan lost the services of Lee Keegan and Jason Doherty during Saturday's match.
An agitated Horan challenged reporters to do their own research before making comments on his preparations, saying: "If you are reporting stuff, surely you will do a bit of research yourself, come to training.
"We've never stopped anyone coming to training. I think it's a disgrace.
"Come to training. People are commenting on stuff and it's absolutely ridiculous. We play a games-based approach in our training where we play games. It is a team sport where there's 30 people on the field so there's going to be injuries.
"So some of the commentary that's been reported back to me - we have a good laugh at it when we hear about it to be honest."

"I think if people are making comments they should try and get some detail or try and get some some evidence behind it," he added.
Tyrone, Clare and Laois also won their Round 3 Qualifier matches on Saturday.
