St Mary's produced a stunning result yesterday, by winning the Sigerson Cup for the first time since 1989.
A college with just 850 students, the Belfast institution pipped the reigning Sigerson champions by 0-13 to 2-06.
The final whistle prompted manager Paddy Tally to fall to his knees, overcome by the emotion of finally winning the title.
Speaking to Jerome Quinn after the game, a delighted Tally said:
"It was just a relief and to be honest, it's hard to believe this. I don't it's sunk in yet that we've won it. It's been a long journey to this point to win one."
"We've worked extremely hard over the years, not just myself but everyone involved in the college. It's a really satisfying feeling at the moment and one we're gonna cherish for a while."
"There's something very special about these players. They showed it against DCU, they showed it yesterday against Cork (UCC) and again today. They're remarkable, these are very special young men."
"There's a lot of goodwill, not just the college but the whole of Ulster is behind us today."
St Mary's conceded two goals, and yet still managed to win the contest on points alone. Tally laughingly explained that having also let in two early goals against UCC in yesterday's semi-final geared them for the challenge against UCD.
"That's all part of it. That's what you call lulling a team into a false sense of security and then start to play. Those goals were crazy yesterday and today but the good thing was we got a dress rehearsal yesterday. We went six down and we had plenty of time to be patient and play ourselves back into the game."
