Former Donegal inter-county footballer Kevin Cassidy has shared his concerns about the long term impact of the coaching methods of the county's former manager Jim McGuinness.
McGuinness, who now coaches at Celtic FC reserves, enjoyed success with the Donegal footballers, leading them to the All Ireland title in 2012.
It was only Donegal's second ever capture of Sam Maguire and their first since 1992 when McGuinness was a player.
He also led them to three Ulster Championships and the 2014 All Ireland final, before departing in October 2014 with his former assistant Rory Gallagher taking over and currently in charge as manager.

But Cassidy feels the style of play that McGuinness instilled is having a detrimental impact on the development of players, in the sense that it was "robotic".
The former All Star who played for Donegal between 2002 and 2011, outlined his thoughts in his column in Gaelic Life.
"After watching last Sunday’s League opener between Donegal and Kerry, I quickly realised that the robotic nature of our player development and coaching under Jim McGuinness has started to hurt our development at this level – and might do for some time to come," Cassidy wrote.
