Peter Creedon has been appointed manager of the Laois senior footballers.
The former Tipperary manager has been ratified on a one-year term at tonight's meeting of the Laois county commitee.
He succeeds Mick Lillis who stepped aside after Laois' exit from the 2016 Championship.

The Cork native has already appointed Mickey McGeehin as his coach.
Creedon spent three years in charge of the Tipp footballers, succeeding John Evans midway through the 2012 season before leaving in July 2015.
