Westmeath will draw on recent positive Croke Park experiences this weekend as they contest the Division 4 final with Wexford.
Over the past two years, Westmeath have secured back-to-back Leinster finals against Dublin and also famously came from Behind to beat Meath at Croke Park in 2015.
Despite last season's relegation from Division 3, John Heslin says his side are ready to make amends and secure some silverware for their side.
"With all due respect, we've gotten a couple of good days out in Croke Park over the last few years," Heslin said.
"There was a couple of memories made there. Because there are so many games involved in the league campaign, fans get to see a lot of games first hand.
"Of course we would have been disappointed with the relegation, but that's in the past now. We've been promoted well and we're looking at the prospect of silverware in the next game."
The Lake County have gone unbeaten in this season's Division 4 campaign, securing six wins from their seven games.
"We were disappointed after drawing with Carlow on the opening day. No disrespect to Carlow, but everyone wants to get those wins at home.
"When you play in front of your home crowd and you don't perform to the best of your ability, it's kind of disappointing. The target we had set was to keep putting in the performances.
"That's what pushes us on. We're playing for the pride of their county. It's not as if we're getting paid, we play because we enjoy it."
Westmeath come off the back of a 2-14 to 1-07 win over Wexford on the final game of the campaign, but Heslin says that result will have no bearing on the final.
"We won't be buying into the result last week. If any team gets to Croke Park, they want to make the most of it and get a win. Especially when there's some silverware up for grabs."
