James Horan has seen an improvement in Cavan's play but expects Tyrone to have too much for them in their Ulster championship clash.
Both sides went head-to-head in the Allianz League Division Two football final with Mickey Harte's side prevailing and ex-Mayo boss Horan is not expecting a different outcome on Sunday.
"I think they'll be too strong when it comes to it. I think it will be a gallant effort for Cavan after their first round and how well they played and even through the league with how much they're scoring. They've changed, they're more advanced and trying to be more positive with the ball," he told Off The Ball.
"They've been trying to get that balance right. They've been too defensive for too long. But I think this year though we're finally seeing them pushing up and being more of a threat and looking to win games a bit more. But I still think Tyrone have that much more experience in how they play. They're very comfortable and I think it will be a great game. I genuinely think it will."
