Despite dominating much of the game, Laois were unable to defeat Kildare in the Leinster Championship quarter final on Saturday evening. It finished 0-16 to 0-16 as the teams now prepare for their replay in Tullamore.
An injury time point from Tommy Moolick was enough to ensure Kildare survived another week, as Dublin await the winners in the provincial semi-finals.
After the draw, Kildare manager Jason Ryan spoke to Dave McIntyre and was delighted to still be in with a chance on winning the Delaney Cup.
"We're delighted to have another weeks training for a lot of our players that have come back from knocks and injuries. It's another game under their belts in preparation for what we want to be a good championship run this year."
Back to back relegations in the league, meant Kildare went into the games as underdogs but Ryan was quick to say that the team has had a huge turnaround in the past two or three years saying that "it's a change in the guard"
