Cork have once again been crowned Ladies All-Ireland SFC champions after they defeated Dublin on a scoreline of 1-07 to 1-08 at Croke Park.
A second half goal from Annie Walsh turned the tide of the game after the Dubs led by 0-04 to 0-03 at the break, before Doireann O'Sullivan led the charge as the Rebels began to exert their dominance on the game.
With one second left on the clock, Dublin were awarded a penalty which Sinead Aherne dispatched to leave it at a one point game but it was too late as the buzzer sounded immediately afterwards.
However, the winning margin is sure to cause some controversy as Dublin had a point wrongfully waved wide in the first-half, with it unlikely that this will be the last we hear of the matter.
