Kilkenny got their first win of the National League campaign today, with a clinical win over Cork. But it took Brian Cody's men some time to establish a firm lead in the game.

Meanwhile, Tipperary maintained their flawless start to the league with a seven point victory over reigning Division 1 champions Clare.
John McGrath excelled with a personal tally of 10 points, while John 'Bubbles' O'Dwyer finished up with five points to his credit.
In Division 1B, Galway scored an emphatic win over Laois. Cathal Mannion was among the stars, hitting 1-05 in Pearse Stadium.
