GALLERY: Ulster win the Interprovincial Football title

Ulster have won the Interprovincial Hurling Championship.

Pete McGrath's side travelled to Carrick-on-Shannon and defeated Connacht by 2-16 to 3-10 on front of a small crowd in Pairc Sean MacDiarmada.

It's the first time Ulster have won the title since 2013. Their record 32nd win pushes the province four titles ahead of Leinster in the Roll of Honour.

Despite scoring two goals in the first 15 minutes through Roscommon's Ciaran Murtagh, the Westerners were not able to hold on for the win as goals from Fermanagh's Aidan Breen and Armagh's Charlie Vernon helped McGrath's side to the win.
