St Vincent’s 1-16
Rhode 0-12
Diarmuid Connolly's first half goal helped St Vincent's pick up a third Leinster fooball title in four years as they were comfortable winners over Rhode this afternoon.
The Dublin club were too strong for their Offaly counterparts and pulled away in the second half to amass a seven-point victory at O'Moore Park.
Mayo's Enda Varley notched two points to help St Vincent's on their way to a record equalling seventh Leinster title and their second in three years.
Ger Brennan was dismissed after a black card in the first half, but the Dublin champions were largely untroubled for the majority of the game.
