GALLERY: Dublin cruise past Kerry in Division 1 final

Dublin battled their way past Kerry in an entertaining division 1 final at Croke Park this afternoon, on a scoreline of 2-18 to 0-13.

The game was finely poised for the most part, with Dublin looking the superior team but Kerry managed to keep in contact with the All-Ireland champions up until the final quarter, where a red card to Aidan O'Mahony for an off the ball incident saw the balance of the game shift in favour of Jim Gavin's men.

Ciaran Kilkenny was awarded the man of the match for a sterling display but Dean Rock, Bernard Brogan and Paul Flynn also contributed heavily to Dublin's scoring, with the latter raising the green flag to kill off the Kingdom's challenge late in the game.

Dublin were rampant at this stage as Kerry had given up all hope and Eric Lowndes got in late to add some gloss to the scoreline with a goal of his own.
