Louth and Laois met at O'Moore park in Division Three of the Allianz Football League where Louth won convincingly by 2-16 to 0-09.
Laois finished the match with 14 men after Colm Begley was sent for an early shower. Paraic Smith and Andy McDonald scored the goals for Louth.
And finally, Ballyea beat St. Thomas' 1-19 to 2-14 to progress to the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Club Championship final.
