The GAA has confirmed that the 2021 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship final will take place at 3pm on Saturday, September 4.
This means the game will not clash with the Republic of Ireland's World Cup qualifier against Azerbaijan, which is at 5pm that evening at the Aviva Stadium.
A brief statement from the GAA on Wednesday afternoon said;
The GAA can confirm that throw-in times for both the GAA Football All-Ireland semi-final meeting of Kerry and Tyrone on Saturday August 21 and the GAA Football All-Ireland final on Saturday September 4 (both at Croke Park), will be 3.00pm.
The statement also lays out the organisation's position in relation to Tyrone's requests for further time to prepare for their semi-final against Kerry.
The Red Hand has requested a further deferral of the game, which is now set for Saturday, August 21 at 3pm, as they continue to deal with a Covid-19 outbreak in the squad.
It's believed only half of the Tyrone panel are currently available to train as they recover from the virus or carry out periods of self-isolation.
Joint manager Brian Dooher has gone as far as to say they may not be able to fulfill the fixture, which is now 10 days away.
"We'll do our best but our first priority is the welfare of our players and that's what we'll be guided by.
"We have had concerned parents on about the health of their children on our panel.
"We requested two weeks based on our experience with Covid to date, and knowing that to get players back into panel a fairly significant timeline is needed."
However, with the GAA's confirmation of throw-in time, it seems no further fixture changes can or will be made and Tyrone's game against Kerry goes ahead on Saturday week, however strong a panel they have to choose from.
