All-Ireland senior football champions Dublin will open their 2017 fixture list against DCU at Parnell Park.
The O'Byrne Cup match will be the second game of a double header at the venue on Sunday, January 8th.
The Dublin hurlers play against Carlow in the curtain raiser in the Bord na Mona Walsh Cup at 2pm with the O'Byrne Cup football match scheduled for 4pm.
Meanwhile, Kilkenny's hurlers will play DCU under lights at MW Hire Park in Dunmore on January 5th in the Walsh Cup.
That has a throw in time of 7.30pm.
Galway's hurlers will take on DIT on January 8th at 2pm in Ballinasloe's Duggan Park.
In the O'Byrne Cup, the Wexford footballers, who are in Group 1 alongside Dublin's footballers, are up against UCD on January 8th at 2pm.
