Dublin have written themselves into the history books this evening as they smashed Kerry's long-standing unbeaten record in League and Championship games.
Jim Gavin's men have now gone an unprecedented 35 games in both competitions without a defeat and haven't been defeat since March 2015.
Dublin's seemed a relatively straightforward task this evening, having already beaten last year's All-Ireland finalists Mayo and drawing last weekend against record holders Kerry.
Dublin were facing a Roscommon side rooted to the bottom of Division 1, low on confidence and already relegated before a ball was thrown in.
Kerry's 84-year-old record tumbled in the first half with points coming from a variety of scorers early on: Darren Daly, Bernard Brogan, Dean Rock, Paul Flynn and Niall Scully all getting themselves on the scoresheet.
The reigning All-Ireland champions took all of 14 minutes to land the first hammer-blow of the evening - Flynn's superb strike helping to amass an 11-point half-time lead at GAA headquarters.
Roscommon, for their part, did offer some resistance in the opening stages of the game. Diarmuid Murtagh and Donie Smith fought valiantly to give Roscommon six points to cling to at the break.
The second half saw more of the same, with the introduction of former Player of the Year recipients Jack McCaffrey and Michael Darragh MacAuley. Diarmuid Connolly also made a welcomed return to the Dublin side.
Kevin McManamon notched a second goal for the Dubs to hand them a 19-point lead with 15 minutes still to play.
Connolly got himself on the scoresheet with a point, as did Conor McHugh.
Ciaráin Murtagh and Cian Connolly continued to plug away for the Rossies but it wasn't to be their night and they slumped to a 21-point defeat in the end.
Paul Flynn spoke to eir Sport after the game and after pulling in a personal tally of 1-6, he was asked what his motivation was to succeed.
"Competition," he replied. "Every chance you get to wear the jersey, you have to put a good shift in. There's a good panel of lads there and everyone wants to be in the first XV.
"That's a good place to be, but when you get the chance you have to perform."
