It was a game marred by a biting allegation, but in terms of a final result Dublin re-asserted their dominance of Leinster in the provincial decider against Meath yesterday.
To review the game, ex-Meath footballer Anthony Moyles joined Colm 'Wooly' Parkinson and Adrian Barry in studio.
Analysing the game, Wooly and Moyles started off by zoning in on Stephen Cluxton's kick outs and how opposition teams are - and should be - reacting to them.
"Meath went man-to-man. You can't go man-to-man on a kickout, especially with Cluxton. No matter what happens, someone goes out and actually just go zonal. Or what you do is that you all go out to the 50 and you concede short kickouts," said Moyles, with Wooly adding that Monaghan and Donegal might do that if they meet Dublin later in the Championship and agreed that zonal marking is the only way to stop the influence of those kickouts.
Moyles also felt Meath were very "individual" in their approach and believes a counter-attacking approach is the best way of stopping the Dubs.
The lads also touched on the bite allegation, which is still unclear, and felt the TV analysis of the incident was too "blasé".
Faced with the hypothetical situation of having a rogue finger in his mouth, Moyles said: "I wouldn't bite it. I'd try to wriggle my head out of the way."
