In the history of Gaelic football, only five players have won eight All Ireland winners' medals.
Naturally, they are all members of the great Kerry side of the 1970s and 1980s.
But only one of them played every single minute of those eight All Ireland final triumphs.
That was Denis "Ogie" Moran who won senior All Irelands in 1975, 1978, 1979 and 1980 as well as 1981, 1984, 1985 and 1986.
This week he joined Off The Ball to look back on his outstanding playing career and his association with elite football in the Kingdom actually dates back to 1962 when he was a mascot for an All Ireland.
"Kerry played Roscommon in '62. My Dad was very friendly with the Sheehys and Sean Og Sheehy was captain in 1962 and John Joe Sheehy asked my Dad would I like to be mascot for the day," Moran recalled.
"So I had the pleasure of walking behind the Artane Boys Band with Sean Og that day and I remember it well. It was a great experience."
He also noted that he was part of the Kerry Minor side with Pat Spillane for a number of years yet in comparison to the dominance he and his generation would enjoy as seniors, medals weren't overflowing at that level.
"We don't have any Minor medals, even a Munster medal. We lost to Cork every year so it was funny because later on we won under-21 All Irelands. If you trace that, it doesn't actually correlate that well," he said.
As he stepped up to senior, he remembered being in "awe" of the legendary Kerry manager Mick O'Dwyer, who he regards as being "very good at dealing with players".
While eight All Irelands were to come, he recalled going into the 1975 final against a strong Dublin team as underdogs, also explaining that from the age of 16 to 32 his life revolved around Gaelic football.
He also explained how the Listowel Races after All Ireland finals helped the Kerry and Dublin players bond off the field and retain lifelong friendships.
Moran also touched on his time as Kerry manager after 1993 at a challenge time for the county's fortunes when they were in transition, admitting, "I didn't make a very good job of it" and didn't get the results.
