Dublin senior footballer Dean Rock has launched a free-taking initiative, which has divided opinions among GAA supporters and volunteers.
Rock announced his plans on Twitter on July 7th, saying: "Proud to announce this initiative that I have been working on. The Dean Rock Free Taking Project is aimed at nurturing current & aspiring free takers of all ages (juveniles & adults). News of an upcoming event very soon."
The 'Dean Rock free-taking initiative' promises to "accelerate your progress by becoming obsessed with the detail and learning how to cope with the pressure."
Dean Rock reaction
The initiative has split opinion on social media.
This Dean Rock thing is pissing me off. Shows the level of begrudgery we have in bread into us. How dare a GAA lad start a business inspiring, teaching kids and adults on how to be better at a vital component of the game. Try and get the best kicker in rugby/soccer to come visit

One on one at €350 for first two sessions and €200 after that? So if I get three sessions that will set me back €900? Assuming a typical session is an hour long that's pretty jaw dropping
