Cork boss Brian Cuthbert “won’t pressure his players to win an All Ireland”

Cork will unveil their first Championship starting 15 of the summer tonight as they prepare for the Munster semi final clash with Tipperary at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

It seems like a long time since their last competitive game against Dublin in the Allianz League semi final when a second half collapse cost them the win after an impressive opening period.

Outside of the rebel county Brian Cuthbert may not be that well known to Ireland's sporting public however his credentials can’t be doubted, having managed the Cork minors to an All-Ireland final. He also had a spell in charge of Bishopstown and served as a selector under previous Cork boss Conor Counihan.

Playing career-wise he captained the Cork minors to an All-Ireland win in 1993 and played under-21 but never featured for the Cork seniors. Recently Oisin Langan sat down with him for a chat to find out more about him and his philosophy.
