There are few players in the GAA game who could make routine work out of scoring 5-15 in a club game but Mayo's Cora Staunton has achieved just that.
She posted that tally for Carnacon last night against Moy Davitts on their way to claiming the Mayo county title. The four-time All-Ireland winner has repeatedly tried to put a modest spin on her individual exploits but everyone will rightly marvel at what she does on the pitch so effortlessly.
Carnacon won the tie comfortably by 11-20 to 0-07 , meaning that not only did Staunton outscore the opposition, she almost put more on the scoreboard than her own team.
A phenomenal but it's not inconceivable to think that she could steal a jersey in the All-Ireland replay this afternoon.
