Conor Lane has been chosen to referee this year's All-Ireland SFC final between Dublin and Mayo at Croke Park on September 18.
The Cork native brings a wealth of officiating experience into the showpiece, having previously refereed the 2016 All-Ireland club final and the 2013 minor final. He also took charge of National League football finals in 2012 and 2013.
Lane's most recent outing as head official, was the Tipperary’s quarter-final win against Galway last month.
Maurice Deegan (Laois) will be the standby referee for the All-Ireland final while Joe McQuillan (Cavan) will be the other linesman. Derek O’Mahoney from Tipperary, has been appointed as the Sideline official.
"You’ve to keep your feet on the ground, to do the best you can, to be as anonymous as you can be on the day. It is the players' day out, you apply the rules, I don't want to be seen or heard after if I can at all possible."
Ciaran Branagan from Down will officiate the Minor game between Kerry and Galway.
