Dual player Con O'Callaghan will have to facing an agonising decision at some point in his future.
The survival rate of dual players in the GAA has dropped dramatically in recent times. Commitment levels in both sports has soared over the years, making the task of dividing a player's time between them close to impossible.
And O'Callaghan will soon reach a stage, where he must confront the inevitable.
The Cuala clubman, who recently captured a senior All-Ireland club title, helped Dublin to a fourth consecutive Leinster crown last night, posting four points along the way.
Several players who have attempted the dual-code challenge reached a point where balancing both sports became unsustainable, and Dublin U21 manager Dessie Farrell knows that O'Callaghan has a tough choice to make.
Speaking to Midlands 103, he said:
"He's a great talent in both codes and it's really difficult to commit to both at elite level. Con has decisions to make for sure about his own future but he’s more than just a talent, he’s an exceptional attitude.
"Everyday is a learning day for Con and we feel very privileged to be in a position to coach him and sometimes it’s the other way around."

Dublin struggled in parts to overcome Offaly last night, and their comprehensive winning margin was largely down to two goals from Tom Fox and Stephen Smith.
Farrell said that they expected a tough assignment, and added that it was a game where both backlines excelled.
"Offaly were really, really dogged and to be honest, we expected no less from them. Great tradition and county. We saw them play Laois and they very much deserved their victory.
"They gave us plenty of food for thought in the run up to it. They laid down the gauntlet and went after us early. It was nip and tuck in the first half.
"We probably came in at half-time five points up, which flattered us a bit in the overall balance of play. Offaly missed a few chances. Then in the second half, when they kicked on, we probably missed a few as well.
"It was a night for both defences, both defences were on top. It was tough."
