Highly-rated Tyrone forward Lee Brennan has left the county's senior football panel, reportedly citing a lack of game-time.
As reported by the Ulster Herald, the 23-year-old has stepped away from Mickey Harte's side, having fallen out of favour with management.
The Trillick clubman featured just twice in this season's Allianz Football League, starting once with the other being a 15 minute cameo appearance off the bench.
Having been unused during the opening Ulster championship win against Derry, Brennan has decided to concentrate on his club football for the time being.
He won't be part of the Red Hand's squad for the upcoming provincial quarter-final against Antrim.
A stand-out performer in Tyrone's All-Ireland under 21 triumph in 2015, Brennan's star seemed to be rising last year when he featured regularly, making strong contributions in both the All-Ireland semi-final win against Monaghan, as well as the final against Dublin at Croke Park.
However, he now follows Ronan O'Neill and Mark Bradley, who have made themselves unavailable to the squad.
While Bradley is taking time out for studies in Liverpool, O'Neill departed the panel at the end of the league campaign, having also fallen out of favour with management.
The 2010 All-Ireland minor winner was benched for the entire league campaign despite featuring heavily during the Dr McKenna Cup.
At the time, the Omagh clubman said he had no issue with management, but stated he simply wanted more game time.
"I spoke to Mickey Harte and I’ve no hard feelings at all with anyone in the Tyrone setup. I’ve opted out and I’ve left on good terms with everyone.
"I’ve loved playing with Tyrone and hopefully this won’t be the end of the journey. I’ll be at all the championship games this summer and I really hope that the lads can go on and lift Sam," he said.
