Dublin have laid down a marker in the Allianz Football League as the reigning All Ireland champions saw off Mayo 1-16 to 0-7 at Croke Park.
In a repeat of last year's All Ireland final (and replay) match-up, there was far more distance between the sides at the final whistle in this Division One clash in comparison to last Autumn.
Dublin took control of the scoreboard early on with Conor McHugh's 7th minute goal leaving the scores at 1-2 to 0-0 in Dublin's favour.
With Mayo struggling to impact the scoreline, Dublin held a 1-5 to 0-2 lead at the break.
Mayo failed to eat into that gap in the second half as Dublin kicked 11 more points in comparison to Mayo's five.
Dublin maintain their unbeaten record, although it was only their second win from four in Division One this year, with two draws in the first three fixtures.

Elsewhere, Donegal earned a relatively comfortable 1-16 to 0-11 win over Cavan at Breffni Park with their goal coming from Eoin McHugh in the second half.
Donegal had built a strong early advantage, notching 0-5 before Cavan even registered a point.
Tyrone also picked up a win against Monaghan at Healy Park, triumphing 0-14 to 0-10 in a game that had been under threat due to the effect of adverse weather until confirmation this morning.
Dublin now lead Division One on six points, one point ahead of a Tyrone side who have a game in hand, while Donegal and Monaghan are also on five points.
And there was one game in Division 1A of the Allianz Hurling League as Wateford defeated Dublin 2-19 to 1-17 with both of the Deise goals delivered by Stephen Bennett.
It was Waterford's first competitive victory at Croke Park since 2008.
