The draws for the 2017 Sigerson Cup and Fitzgibbon Cup have taken place in Croke Park on Wednesday afternoon.
The two competitions see the best third-level institutions compete in both football and hurling. The finals will take place in February.
Sigerson Cup champions DCU will have to wait a little longer to find out their opponents. They have been drawn at home to the winner of the GMIT/IT Sligo clash.
In the Fitzgibbon Cup, Mary Immaculate of Limerick will hope to retain the trophy in the 100th edition of the competition. They will face IT Carlow, GMIT and Carlow IT in Group A.
The two competitions use different formats. The Sigerson Cup has a knock-out format, while the Fitzgibbon Cup sees each team guaranteed three games in the group stages.
Both finals will take place in the west in February. The Sigerson Cup Final will take place on February 18th at the Connacht GAA Centre. The following week, the Fitzgibbon Cup Final will be held in NUIG.
