Barcelona have confirmed the signing of Ferran Torres from Manchester City.
The Catalan giants have secured the Spanish forward in a deal in the region of €65million.
The clubs had reportedly reached an agreement before Christmas, but the deal was confirmed on Tuesday.
It brings to an end Ferran Torres’ relatively short stint at the Etihad; the Spaniard had only joined Pep Guardiola’s team in August 2020.

Man City accepted to sell only because Ferrán asked to move back to Spain.

Barcelona will pay Man City an initial €55million, with a further €10million in add-ons.
The deal will also see Torres play for the blaugrana until 2027, with Barça setting the buyout clause at €1billion.
Torres is the first major signing of the Xavi era at Camp Nou.
Marred by a self-inflicted financial crisis, the club negotiated a debt refinancing with Goldman Sachs in June, to the tune of €525million.
Barcelona currently in 7th place in La Liga on 28 points, 18 points off league leaders Real Madrid.
