Fallon Sherrock's fairytale run at the PDC World Darts Championship has come to an end.
She has been beaten 4-sets-to-2 by 22nd seed Chris Dobey in their third-round encounter this Friday afternoon.
Sherrock made history last week by becoming the first woman to ever win a match at the competition.
She then beat the odds again by knocking out World number 11 Mensur Suljovic before Christmas.
In the third round clash, Sherrock led 2-1 at one stage but Englishman Dobey proved too strong and came from behind to clinch the victory.

Sherrock admitted after her defeat to Dobey that she had not envisaged her run to the last 32.
“I enjoyed myself so much.
“I didn’t think this was ever possible. This is amazing, this whole experience has been unbelievable.”
She was gracious in defeat and praised her opponent;
“Chris played so well. Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be but I can’t take it away from him.
"Hopefully, I get to be back here next year but I’ve got the Ladies’ World Championship next week so let’s see where I go from there.”
